Phab is a national charity that organise social events for children and adults of all ages and abilities. It has transformed the lives of thousands of disabled people across the country and changed the attitudes of millions towards those with disabilities. Phab plays a vital role in our communities across England and Wales. (For more information on Phab nationally visit www.phab.org.uk)
A group of student committee members are in the process of setting up a University of Bristol Phab. We are inviting people with disabilities aged 16-25 from the community to come along and have fun with Bristol University students of the same age, in an inclusive environment. There will be a diverse programme of activities such as film nights, arts and crafts or quizzes and games. Of course, siblings and friends in the same age range are also welcome.
We plan for the club nights to take place once a fortnight on a Tuesday evening from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at the University of Bristol Multi-faith Chaplaincy. We are very excited to start this club in February and it would be great to know who would be interested in coming along!
Email us on firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in joining us so we can keep you updated!
